Tasks:

• Responsible for defining, implementing, and managing quality measures in proposals and projects
• Responsible for communicating quality-related issues with customers, ZtQ, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Monitoring compliance with all processes in projects
• Independent assessment of project/product status for internal reporting
• Responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining the quality management plan, the test plan, and the document overview
• Responsible for initiating and creating test and acceptance plans
• Responsible for planning, preparing, and documenting quality gates (QG)
• Responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating engineering reviews (ER)
• Monitoring the implementation of actions identified during ERs and QGs
• Responsible for coordinating reviews of project documents and their approval
• Assisting in the preparation of project-related documents (e.g., development plan, test plan, integration and verification plan)
• Participating in and conducting preliminary inspections and inspections with customers and suppliers
• Participating in decisions regarding supplier selection and participating in supplier audits
• Responsible for defining quality criteria for orders placed with suppliers
• Reviewing and approving purchase orders with regard to quality requirements
• Responsible for coordinating, conducting, and deciding on the approval of first-article inspections at and with suppliers
• Responsible for production and series production approval at suppliers
• Responsible for coordinating, conducting, and deciding on production approval at RME
• Responsible for deciding on approval for product inspection by the customer
• Review and approval of test reports, outgoing goods inspections, and approval for shipment to customers
• Responsible for raising complaints and rejecting services in cases of non-compliance
• Responsible for compiling all information necessary to assess product conformity as a decision-making aid for authorized signatories
• Responsible for issuing factory certificates and other product certificates
• Joint decision-making regarding the acceptance of defective purchased parts
• Joint decision-making regarding the approval of change requests
• Responsible for reporting the results from ER, QG, as well as customer acceptance inspections or shipment inspections into the department's internal ticket tools
• Responsible for planning and estimating the scope of work for a Project
• Quality Manager (m/f/d) for future projects as part of proposals
• Responsibility for assigned project cost centers; participation in Cost-to-Complete
• Collaboration on and facilitation of cross-project and cross-departmental quality initiatives (4D, 8D, continuous improvement)
• Responsibility for one or more of the following tasks:
• Concurrent project quality management across multiple projects for various product areas
• Leading quality management within a program organization, including defining the framework conditions for and providing technical guidance to Level 1 Project Quality Managers (m/f/d) on projects within the program
• Ongoing and responsible optimization and implementation of process components used in quality assurance within processNet
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
• Extensive relevant experience in project-based quality management
• Practical knowledge of quality management and development standards
• Practical experience with system, hardware, and software development methods
• Practical experience with verification and testing methods
• Very good knowledge of test procedures and methods, as well as review and audit techniques
• Business-level proficiency in English and German (spoken and written)
• Goal-oriented and independent work style
