Objective of the position: Sustain healthy labor relations and lead personnel administration strategies for union and non-union employees supporting the Daimler culture in Santiago Trucks Manufacturing Plant.

Indispensable Requirements (Candidates who do not meet these requirements may be discarded):

Experience: 2+ years managing team focus to customers and:

  • Mexican Labor law knowledge (STPS, LFT)
  • Payroll general knowledge
  • Labor relations & barganing negotiations.
  • English level: B2

Academic Knowledge: Degree in administration, engineering, industrial relations or any related career

Main Functions:

  • Supervise personnel administration processes and systems to ensure the correct payment for both union and non-union employees. Be the first point of contact with the Union and sustain healthy labor relations.
  • Advise company and their employees on labor issues to comply with Internal Labor Regulations and Collective Barganing Agreement (CBA)
  • Ensure the correct application of the Internal Labor Regulations, providing in case that applies the disciplinary actions to maintain a great place to work enviroment as well as preserv the company values
  • Ensure the services for all the Santiago plant employees in adequate conditions (transportation and canteen) providing a satisfactory experience
  • Lead the yearly union barganing and execute the agremeents to ensure the continue of the business maintaining a healthy relation with the union
  • Foster and mantain a professional and collaborative relationship with the management team, promoing effective communication, and ongoing coordation to achieve the organization´s shared goals
  • Contribute to the plant´s overall strategy by aligning Human Resources initiatives with business objectives.
