Provides a centralized point of leadership for coordination and execution of face to face, digital and hybrid events/programs within a team so that operational excellence results with all program operations. Strives to meet client needs, specifications, objectives, and quality standards. Work with the collective event management team and direct reports to maximize contribution margin by effectively managing the customer experience, balancing customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and organizational cost. This position centers heavily around accounting and compliance.What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead, mentor, and coach Event Management team members across markets and event types, including performance management, development conversations, and goal setting.
- Coordinate regular team meetings, communications, onboarding support, and training initiatives.
- Oversee labor management, time tracking, T&E reporting, and invoicing approvals to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide Event Management support for assigned target accounts, including project oversight, relationship management, and financial and compliance management.
- Ensure adherence to workflows, client SOPs, and best practices across accounts for operational consistency.
- Review and audit team transactions and deliver monthly and quarterly reporting for SLA, finance, compliance, and event management.
- Support new initiatives, processes, and continuous improvement efforts across the organization.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in meetings, events, and/or incentive travel (pre- and/or post-sale).
- 1–2 years of experience in compliance and/or accounting-related functions.
- 1–2 years of proven supervisory or people leadership experience.
- Experience managing budgets and financial oversight for programs or accounts.
- Strong organizational, communication, and motivational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization, including clients and external partners.
Nice To Have
- Global travel or hospitality industry experience.
- Understanding of experience design and the ability to articulate event outcomes tied to business objectives.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CMP, CIS, CITP, HMCC, or DES.
Working Logistics & Things You Should Know
- This is a hybrid role requiring candidates to be based in either Cincinnati, OH or Santa Clara, CA. consistent onsite attendance will be required.
- 25-30% travel may be required based on client programs, team support, or business initiatives.
