Location: This position is located at our OE Office in Livonia, MI.

Work Style: In-person, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Job Purpose

The OE Logistics Associate supports the fulfillment of original equipment (OE) customer orders and helps maintain appropriate inventory levels across Hankook's OE business partners. This position monitors customer order releases, coordinates with carriers and internal teams to support timely Just-in-Time (JIT) deliveries, and helps resolve order and delivery issues.

The OE Logistics Associate works closely with Global Headquarters, field sales teams, OE customers, distribution centers, and logistics partners to monitor customer demand and ensure inventory and supply are aligned with customer forecasts and production requirements. This role also supports purchasing, sales, and inventory (PSI) planning activities through data analysis, reporting, and ongoing communication with cross-functional teams.

Key Accountabilities

Order Fulfillment & Logistics

  • Monitor customer order releases and order data to ensure OE customer orders can be fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate with distribution centers and logistics partners to support timely fulfillment and delivery of OE customer orders.
  • Work with carriers to ensure Just-in-Time (JIT) deliveries are completed according to customer requirements.
  • Identify, communicate, and help resolve delivery delays, shortages, inventory issues, and other exceptions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support efforts to maintain appropriate stock levels across OE business partners.
  • Communicate order, inventory, and delivery updates to internal stakeholders and customers as appropriate.

Customer & Cross-Functional Support

  • Work closely with the OE Manager to address and resolve customer order, logistics, and service issues.
  • Collaborate with Global Headquarters and field sales teams to monitor customer demand and anticipate changes in order volumes.
  • Compare incoming order volumes with customer forecasts and production plans to identify potential supply or inventory concerns.
  • Maintain professional relationships with customers, carriers, distribution centers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support cross-functional communication and coordination to ensure customer requirements are understood and addressed.

Planning, Reporting & Analysis

  • Support the development and ongoing execution of the Purchasing, Sales, and Inventory (PSI) planning process.
  • Analyze order, inventory, sales, and logistics data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and maintain reports related to customer orders, inventory, shipments, and logistics performance.
  • Maintain accurate files, records, and documentation related to OE logistics activities.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to management to support business and supply chain decisions.

Other Responsibilities

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to OE logistics, order fulfillment, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and applicable business processes.
  • Complete additional projects and ad hoc assignments as directed by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • 0–3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
  • Prior experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) environments preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, preferred.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
  • Bilingual Korean language skills are a plus.

Additional Requirements

  • Occasional overnight travel, including weekends, may be required.
  • Additional hours or days may occasionally be required to support business needs.
