Job Description:

Civil Inspector

Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Civil Inspector to join our construction supervision team supporting major infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will perform inspection tasks, coordinate testing and verification activities and maintain detailed site records to ensure construction is delivered in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications and HSE requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing :

• Inspect civil construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, plans, specifications and workmanship standards.

• Coordinate daily with the contractor’s foreman and report non-conformances, questionable methods, or deviations to the Resident Engineer.

• Process and track Inspection Requests (IRs) and maintain records of approvals, rejections, and follow-ups.

• Coordinate sampling / testing with other discipline inspectors and laboratories; support quality assurance checks on materials.

• Coordinate with surveyors to verify line, level, and grade for ongoing and completed works.

• Maintain a daily site log as directed by the Resident Engineer.

• Support measurement/records for Day Works where applicable.

• Interface professionally with stakeholders adjacent to the works to reduce construction impacts where required.

• Comply with and actively support site HSE requirements and safe work practices.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in major infrastructure construction supervision in UAE / GCC.

• Ability to read and enforce drawings and specifications; strong inspection and documentation skills.

• Computer literacy for records, reporting and project systems.

• Good communication and coordination skills in a site-based environment.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience/background in stormwater/wet utilities experience preferred.
