Senior Project Coordinator

Overview

Steampunk is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to build and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule and dependency tracking for a large federal advisory program, meeting fixed statutory delivery windows.

Contributions

• Build and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule and milestone registries
• Maintain dependency maps across all program workstreams so no critical dependency is missed
• Coordinate with workstream and task area leads to collect schedule updates, inputs, and status
• Conduct critical path analysis and identify schedule variances, escalating impacts to the Program Manager
• Support schedule baseline management and change control processes
• Support monthly program reviews and issue/escalation tracking against SLA standards
• Maintain program data in the government-approved portfolio management system to consistent data standards and quality controls

 

Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Project Management, or a related field, and 5+ years of total experience
• 3-5+ years of scheduling or program coordination experience
• Proficiency with scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project or equivalent) and critical path method (CPM) scheduling
• Strong cross-team coordination and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and demonstrated attention to fixed-deadline deliverables

Preferred:

• Experience maintaining schedules in a government-approved portfolio/PM system
• Prior experience on federal programs
• PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or equivalent certification

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $130,000.  The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
