Rental Technician - WINTER

Description

Hiring FT/PT seasonal, PT Seasonal for Christmas Break and Holiday Weekends, this position will start once the snow flies!

Establish a rapport and assess needs of customers for rental and repair of all equipment. Assist guests through rental process while maintaining a high level of customer service.  Assist in maintaining and cleaning Rental Shop and equipment. 

Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist guests in properly filling out iPads or paperwork.
• Fit guests with boots.
• Proficiently adjust bindings.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Sell package upgrades, demo skis, and tuning services to guests. 
• Accurately recommend the appropriate demo equipment for each customer. 
• Return equipment to proper place after inspection and guest check out. 
• Assist Ski Check when assigned. 
• Actively participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace.
• Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Must have service oriented personality.
• Must be detail oriented with ability to set and meet high customer service standards.
• Must use proper etiquette while conversing with guests.
• Must have detailed knowledge of equipment in Rental Shop.
• Must have detailed knowledge of all procedures and operations involved in equipment rental. 
• Must be proficient in up-selling products and services. 
• Must become certified and competent in properly adjusting bindings.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be flexible and capable of bending, twisting and kneeling.
• Must be able to work in tight space with balance.
• Must be able to work on feet, stand and walk for up to 8 hours shift.
• Must be able to keep up with the pace of the department demands of the position.
