As a Security Officer Mobile Response Driver in China, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting operations through teamwork, integrity, agility, reliability, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, utility-related equipment areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors, maintaining visitor logs, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations.
• Complete accurate reports, patrol documentation, and shift communications regarding incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends, as a Branch Flex employee.
• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be available for last-minute shift scheduling as a Branch Flex employee.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
