Ambulatory Nurse

Baystate Health, is looking for experienced Primary Care Nurse to join Northampton Family Medicine

Full Time -40 hours

Sign On Bonus eligible

Responsibilities                         

• Provides independent quality triage and patient care utilizing strong assessment skills, point of care testing and quality assurance checks
• Provides education, ongoing assessment and support to patients with chronic substance use health conditions
• In partnership with patient and medical staff, develop and implement plan of care for complex patients including medical and/or psychosocial disorders.  
• Triages and coordinates patient care ensuring access to care and patient success.
• Promotes health and wellness for individuals and groups of patients.
• Demonstrates respect and advocates for the patient’s rights, values and belief systems. 

​Required Work Experience: 

• Massachusetts license as an RN and BLS CPR certified.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Experience providing clinical care, education, and treatment to patients with substance abuse diagnoses or primary care experience
• Demonstrated interest to work with patients from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have competency in delivering exceptional nursing care and have proven success in partnering with both physicians and staff

• Location - 325 King Street, Northampton
• Full Time Monday - Friday
• Sign On Bonus eligible- Must have 1 year of outpatient experience

Diploma in Nursing (Required)

Certifications:

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, Registered Nurse - State of Massachusetts

Note: The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.

Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum

$72,800.00 - $101,774.00 - $130,728.00
