Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Assessment Full Time in Smyrna, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will communicate clearly, respond to site needs, and deliver exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, exterior grounds, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor, vendor, and delivery driver sign-in procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site requirements, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
