FT Travel Nanny Needed for Two Children (SF / East Coast / Asia)

Description

A family in Noe Valley is seeking a travel nanny/educator for their two young boys, ages 2 and 3.5 years old. Responsibilities include all child-related care: planning activities and outings, laundry, light tidying, and preparing meals and snacks.

Their ideal candidate has a teaching experience and/or ECE Certification and fluency in English. Candidates must be willing and flexible to travel. At minimum the family spends 5 weeks in Asia and 6 weeks in Nantucket. Accommodations when traveling include a private bedroom and bathroom.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum related experience with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Experience and/or ECE certification (nice to have)

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated
• TB and Tdap
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record (family can provide household vehicle for work-related driving)
• Flexibility and willingness to travel within/outside the US
• Must have teaching experience and/or ECE certification
• Discrete
• Educational and engaging
• Playful
• Comfortable with cats (the cats only reside in SF and do not travel with the family)

Responsibilities

• Actively participate and seek out ways to nurture and promote the children’s development
• Plan age-appropriate activities and outings
• Prepare children's meals and snacks
• Child laundry
• Assist with developmental/travel transitions (nap schedule, etc.)
• Light tidying (nursery as well as common/play areas)
• Packing for travel
