We are looking for a motivated and reliable Machine Operator to join a fast-paced, growing team in the packaging industry. This position may have the option for overtime, as well as occasional weekend work. This position is focused on operating a stand-up pouch machine, ensuring high quality output and consistent production.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor high end insutrial machinery efficiently to meet production and quality standards.
- Set up machines according to job specifications and ensure proper running speeds.
- Conduct regular quality checks and maintain production reports.
- Perform machine changeovers, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Monitor materials for defects and report any concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow all safety, quality, and food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
- Train new team members as needed.
Requirements
- Experience operating high end industrial machinery
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and perform repetitive motions.
- Basic math, computer, and hand tool skills.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, noise, and humidity.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish preferred)
