The Manager owns the effectiveness of the physical security function and is expected to demonstrate a high degree of judgment, accountability, urgency, and confidence in decision-making. This leader must be comfortable assessing situations quickly, making sound decisions with the information available, and taking appropriate action without unnecessary delay.
Inmar operates in a dynamic environment where priorities, risks, technologies, and operational requirements can change frequently. The Manager must be able to rapidly adapt, overcome obstacles, reprioritize resources, and maintain effective security operations as circumstances evolve.

This leader will develop and empower a highly capable security team, establish clear expectations and accountability, and build strong partnerships across the organization. Success in this role requires a leader who takes ownership of outcomes, remains composed under pressure, communicates clearly, and consistently turns mission into action through the principles of Flawless Execution.

  • Create a culture of ownership in which security personnel identify problems, take initiative, and remain accountable for results.

Decision-Making, Urgency & Adaptability

  • Exercise confident, independent judgment when responding to security risks, incidents, and operational challenges.
  • Assess situations quickly and make timely, well-reasoned decisions using the best information available.
  • Take appropriate action without unnecessary delay while recognizing when escalation or broader organizational involvement is required.
  • Remain composed and decisive during emergencies, rapidly evolving situations, and periods of competing priorities.
  • Rapidly adapt plans, priorities, staffing, and resources as threats, business requirements, or operating conditions change.
  • Identify barriers and develop practical solutions to maintain progress and operational effectiveness.
  • Take accountability for decisions and outcomes and make timely adjustments when circumstances or new information require a different approach.
  • Anticipate potential downstream impacts and proactively address emerging risks before they become larger operational issues.

Security Assessment & Continuous Improvement

  • Regularly evaluate physical security systems, processes, and capabilities against emerging risks, technologies, and industry practices.
  • Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate improvements.
  • Analyze security risks and threats and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen security through new technologies, capabilities, processes, and procedures.
  • Challenge existing practices when they no longer effectively support the needs of the organization.
  • Translate lessons learned from incidents, investigations, and operational challenges into measurable improvements in security readiness and execution.

Access Control, Surveillance & Monitoring

  • Oversee the administration and effectiveness of access control systems.
  • Monitor and audit access activity to ensure compliance with established security policies.
  • Ensure access-related incidents and potential breaches are appropriately investigated and resolved.
  • Oversee security surveillance, CCTV, alarm, intrusion detection, and related security technologies.

  • Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, operational leaders, and other internal or external partners as appropriate.
  • Lead and conduct investigations involving potential theft, loss, diversion, unauthorized activity, or other security threats.
  • Review available evidence, conduct interviews, identify anomalies, and follow facts to appropriate conclusions.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews, identify lessons learned, and implement appropriate corrective or preventive actions.

Security Training & Awareness

  • Develop and provide security awareness training for associates, contractors, and operational leaders.
  • Promote a culture in which security, safety, and individual accountability are understood as shared responsibilities.
  • Conduct drills and exercises to evaluate preparedness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicate relevant security risks, expectations, and procedural changes clearly and effectively throughout the organization.

Security Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of security incidents, investigations, assessments, and corrective actions.
  • Develop, document, and implement physical security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
