About you on this role

As a Senior Plant Quality Technologist, you will play a critical role in driving and sustaining plant quality excellence by leading quality management system initiatives, product quality investigations, and continuous improvement programs. You will partner closely with manufacturing, operations, quality, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory standards, and business quality strategies.

This role requires strong analytical, technical, and leadership capabilities to manage complex quality challenges, enhance operational discipline, and promote a culture of quality across multiple product lines and manufacturing environments. You will also serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to site personnel while driving strategic quality improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain the Plant Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory standards, and business quality objectives.
  • Drive quality-related change management initiatives (MOC) by evaluating quality impacts and strengthening operational procedures and quality systems.
  • Analyze quality data and performance metrics through data mining, trend analysis, reporting, and dashboard management to support continuous improvement.
  • Build a strong quality culture by delivering training, coaching employees, and promoting quality awareness across operations and cross-functional teams.
  • Lead product quality investigations and problem-solving efforts using root cause analysis, traceability reviews, and corrective/preventive action processes.
  • Manage audits, non-conformance processes, and continuous improvement programs to enhance compliance, reduce risks, improve customer satisfaction, and strengthen overall quality performance.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline. Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing, plant operations, quality assurance, quality control, or related industrial environments.
  • Experience working within quality management systems and operational excellence programs.
  • Experience supporting regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Exposure to quality auditing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, Responsible Care, or similar quality standards.

Your Skills

  • Quality Management & Compliance: Expertise in Quality Management Systems (QMS), audit management, regulatory compliance, and product quality assurance.
  • Problem Solving & Investigations: Strong capability in root cause analysis, product quality investigations, risk assessment, and corrective action implementation.
  • Data Analysis & Process Control: Proficient in quality data analysis, reporting, trending, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to drive informed decisions.
  • Continuous Improvement & Change Management: Experience leading process improvement initiatives, Management of Change (MOC), and operational excellence programs.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Skilled at partnering with cross-functional teams, customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders to achieve quality objectives.
  • Leadership & Communication: Effective in training, coaching, technical documentation, and influencing teams through strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Notes

  • No relocation is available in this position.  
  • This position may act as a technical lead and provide guidance to quality personnel and cross-functional teams.
  • The role requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.
  • Candidates should demonstrate a passion for quality excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working in chemical, manufacturing, industrial, or process industries will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Flexibility to support audits, investigations, and plant quality initiatives across multiple locations may be required.
