Description
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
The Support Services Specialist plays an important role in keeping patient information accurate, complete, and up to date so our care teams can focus on what matters most: supporting the health and wellness of the people we serve. This position helps ensure accurate insurance and primary care provider information, supports regulatory and billing requirements, and contributes to efficient, well-organized patient records.

Key Responsibilities
- Review patient records and identify missing insurance coverage information, ensuring records are current and complete.
- Complete Good Faith Estimates and support related regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and update assigned primary care provider information with managed care organizations.
- Complete data entry and chart review activities that support accurate records, compliance, and efficient department operations.
- Provide additional administrative support as needed to help the team meet its goals.
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High School or GED required
- Experience with insurance billing (regulatory requirements) including but not limited to insurance, Medicaid and Medicare payors required
- Experience in a healthcare setting (behavioral health and/or primary care settings) required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as required for the role
