Job Overview
The marketing Coordinator will assist Sage Hotels and Restaurants in day to day marketing activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in pulling digital marketing reports for owners on a quarterly basis
- Assist in press release management
- Assist in press release results and reporting
- Oversees property access to social media accounts
- Coordination from the corporate office of all property photo shoots to ensure Sage’s best practices are being followed, shot lists are correct and travel is properly scheduled
- Attend and assist with property photoshoots, delivering photography that is aligned with brand standards and in the correct format for websites
- Assists in entry-level PR, social media and digital efforts.
- Creates presentations and marketing plans in PowerPoint with direction from the Marketing Team
- Assist the marketing team with the execution of Sage Marketing initiatives including digital strategy for Sage-wide promotions, called Sage Packs
- Manage all Sage-brand assets including logos and imagery
Qualifications
Education/Formal Training
A four year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
Experience
1-2 years of experience in a marketing position preferred. Hospitality experience preferred. Graphic design skills are a plus.
Knowledge/Skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of current search engine optimization (SEO) strategies
- Administrative knowledge for social media sites, including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube
- Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint
- Basic knowledge in marketing strategy and a willingness to learn Sage’s best practices
