Your role at Clorox:

The Data & Analytics Analyst enables data-driven decision-making across the organization by transforming complex data into meaningful insights and performance reporting. The role is responsible for designing and maintaining KPI dashboards and scorecards in Power BI, utilizing SAP SAC and Fiori to deliver detailed operational and business reporting. In addition, the position establishes strong data governance practices by documenting KPI definitions, business rules, ownership, and usage guidelines, ensuring alignment across functions and reducing inconsistencies in reporting. Through trusted analytics and standardized metrics, the role supports business leaders in making informed and timely decisions.

In this role, you will:

KPI Reporting & Dashboarding (Power BI)

  • Design, build, and maintain KPI dashboards/scorecards in Power BI to support performance management routines and faster decision-making.

  • Produce recurring KPI reporting packs (e.g., service/case fill, inventory health/DOS, forecast-related views) with clear commentary on trends and drivers.

  • Partner with stakeholders to translate KPI needs into usable visuals, filters, and drill paths that align to how teams manage the business.

Transactional & Detailed Reporting (SAC/Fiori)

  • Use SAC and Fiori to access SAP transactional and detailed reporting needed for root-cause analysis and operational deep dives.

  • Cross-check transactional views (SAC/Fiori) versus aggregated dashboards (Power BI) to improve confidence in KPI interpretation and decisions

Data Quality, Governance & Documentation

  • Validate data accuracy and investigate discrepancies across reports; coordinate resolution with report owners/stewards and affected stakeholders.

  • Maintain and publish reporting documentation (definitions, intended use/purpose, sources, calculation logic, and ownership/stewardship), aligned to enterprise governance approaches.

  • Contribute to dashboard “link hygiene” and user guidance so that consumers can easily find the right source report and definitions for each KPI.

Problem Identification & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify performance risks/opportunities using variance, exceptions, and trend analysis; frame the “so what” and recommended actions for KPI owners.

  • Support continuous improvement by quantifying baseline, diagnosing drivers, and tracking impact through sustained KPI monitoring (e.g., case fill changes over time).

    Skills and Abilities:

    Must-have

    • Hands-on experience building dashboards and reporting in Power BI (e.g., authoring in Desktop and publishing/sharing via the service).

    • Working knowledge of SAC and Fiori for SAP transactional and detailed reporting (or strong ability to learn quickly).

    • Strong analytical problem solving: ability to identify drivers, explain variance, and translate analysis into actions.

    • Documentation discipline: ability to write clear metric definitions, intended use, and calculation notes to improve shared understanding.

    • 2+ years experience working in data or business analytics with a proven track record of validating AI assisted insights.

    • Handse-on exposure to modern BI or workspace tools featuring embedded o generative AI features (power BI copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise).
