## Join our Team

About this opportunity:

We are looking for a motivated fresh graduate to join our Radio hardware design team as a PCB Layout Engineer. You will work on the printed circuit board (PCB) layout of Ericsson's radio base station products, collaborating closely with hardware designers, RF engineers, and manufacturing teams to turn schematics into cost-effective, high-quality, manufacturable, high-performance boards. This is an excellent opportunity to build deep expertise in high-speed and RF PCB design within a world-leading telecommunications environment.

What you will do:

  • Perform PCB layout for radio base station hardware, from schematic netlist to fabrication-ready design
  • Work with hardware and RF engineers on placement, routing, stack-up, and impedance control for high-speed digital, RF and DC Power circuits
  • Apply design-for-manufacturability (DFM), design-for-assembly (DFA), and design-for-reliability (DFR) guidelines
  • Support signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), mechanical and thermal considerations during layout
  • Maintain PCB design documentation and libraries; ensure compliance with internal design rules and industry standards (e.g. IPC)
  • Collaborate with PCB suppliers and manufacturing on design reviews and issue resolution
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement, competence development, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the team.

The skills you bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (fresh graduate) in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, or a related field
  • Foundational knowledge of PCB design principles, electronics fundamentals, and high-frequency/high-speed concepts
  • Familiarity with PCB layout tools – Cadence Allegro preferred (or Altium Designer, Mentor Xpedition)
  • Basic understanding of signal integrity, impedance control, EMI/EMC and PCB manufacturing processes is a plus
  • Good English reading and writing skills for technical documentation
  • Team player with strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and problem-solving mindset
