Lifting Engineer (Offshore Oil & Gas)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in lifting operations, maintenance, inspection, and load testing of lifting equipment.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in crane inspection, certification, troubleshooting, and auditing.
• Strong experience in offshore oil & gas lifting operations.
• Experience with offshore pedestal cranes, mobile cranes, crawler cranes, forklifts, hoists, slings, shackles, winches, and other lifting equipment.
• Ability to prepare, supervise, and execute critical lifting plans.
• Experience managing and assessing lifting personnel competency (Appointed Person, Lifting Supervisor, Crane Operator, Rigger/Banksman).
• Experience conducting lifting-related incident investigations.
• Strong knowledge of lifting standards such as API, ASME, BS, ISO, DNV, LOLER, and LR.
• Excellent leadership, communication, contractor management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven QA/QC and audit experience.

Certifications (Mandatory):

• LEEA Qualification (Entry Exam plus minimum 4 Diplomas).
• CPCS A61 Appointed Person Certification or equivalent approved certification.
• Technical and Management System Audit certification is preferred.

Preferred:

• Offshore lifting equipment integrity and compliance experience.
• ADNOC or major oil & gas project experience.
