- Design and build scalable backend services and APIs using C# and .NET.
- Work with MongoDB Atlas, optimising data models and application performance.
- Drive the reliability, deployment, and scalability of cloud-native services running on Azure and Kubernetes.
- Develop data processing and calculation workflows using Python and modern dataframe technologies.
- Contribute across the full stack, building user-facing functionality with React, TypeScript, and Redux.
- Champion best practices in software quality, testing, code reviews, and maintainability.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams to shape solutions that deliver real client value.
- Mentor engineers, raise technical standards, and help foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and enhance engineering effectiveness.
What skills and experience do I need to succeed?
- Significant software engineering experience with deep expertise in C# and .NET.
- Strong backend development experience within enterprise SaaS environments.
- Experience with MongoDB or comparable NoSQL technologies.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containerised applications, and Kubernetes.
- Experience building and operating multi-tenant software applications.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and system design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Python and data-processing workflows.
- React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Redux.
- Technical leadership, mentoring, or people leadership exposure.
- DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Experience using AI-assisted software development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or similar.
What do we offer?
This role is ideally based in Valencia, Spain, where you'll join our existing engineering team. We operate a hybrid working model and value regular in-person collaboration, while also supporting effective distributed working across our global team. Flexibility and strong asynchronous communication skills are important due to the international nature of the team.
