About the location:

The 123-room Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto is the company’s second destination in Japan, in the city’s historic Higashiyama-ku district, close to the Kyoto National Museum and myriad heritage sites such as the Toyokuni Shrine and Kiyomizu Temple. Local artists are featured throughout the traditionally-inspired modern décor characterised by an understated Japanese aesthetic. The Hotel has a spa and fitness centre with a pool, and four food and beverage concepts. There are also be 57 Four Seasons Private Residences.

ABOUT FOUR SEASONS HOTEL KYOTO :

The 180-key Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto is the company’s one of the 3 destinations in Japan, in the city’s historic Higashiyama district, close to the Kyoto National Museum and myriad heritage sites such as the Toyokuni Shrine and Kiyomizu-dera Temple.  Local artists are featured throughout the traditionally-inspired modern décor characterised by an understated Japanese aesthetic.  The Hotel has a Spa & Fitness Centre with a pool, and four food and beverage concepts. There are also 57 Four Seasons Private Residences.

ABOUT THE ROLE :

• Understand and perform job duties to the expectations of all F&B outlets including the EMBA and Tea House.

• Takes ownership of the Bar & Lounge, knowing the names and preferences of our guests and VIPs, greeting, seating, running, bussing, re-setting of the SEY and EMBA restaurant, etc. 

• Executes and facilitates service in cooperation with other service staff and Managers. Facilitates the communication between the FOH & HOH. 

• Taking and making beverage orders. 

• Welcome all guests and ensure guests receive responsive, professional, and gracious service at all times. 

• Develops rapport with guests. 

• Maintain a clean, safe environment all times at the bar. 

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in bar environment

• Detail-oriented and self starter

• Strong customer service skills and emotional intelligence 

• Ability to truly connect with guests & staff 

• Team player 

• Ability to work AM & PM shifts Monday - Sunday according to business
