Capital Fortune Rockhopper is an award winning protection and mortgage brokerage in the City of London. We are seeking an experienced mortgage adviser to join our team.

Salary	£40,000 basic plus 12% commission (Standard Model) £12,000 basic plus 40% commission (Premier Model)
Hours	12 - 40 hours per week
Location	Remote working. Hybrid during initial training, at 22 Tudor Street, London EC4Y, then monthly training days in office.

Also	29 days including birthday and bank holidays. Pension. Professional and network fees paid.

Every enquiry comes to you warm, from inside our own business. Our website brings people who have gone looking for a broker who will take their case. Our wills and estate planning clients bring a second stream, and existing borrowers return at every remortgage.

Much of the work has been turned down elsewhere. Self-employed and contractor income, offshore and expatriate earnings, later life lending, guarantors, business owners. If you would rather talk to an underwriter than run another criteria search, there is enough of it here.

What we need.

• Recent experience advising on mortgages in a regulated environment. Not a trainee position.
• CeMAP, CII or equivalent, and Competent Adviser Status.
• Knowledge of lender criteria across residential and specialist markets, and the judgement to know when a case needs a conversation.
• Business that stays on the books. Persistency matters.
• The discipline to work remotely without anyone standing over you.

The money, plainly.

Standard Model: £40,000 basic, contractual plus 12% of everything you write, from the first case. Premier Model: £12,000 basic, contractual plus 40% of everything you write, from the first case. No tiers, no thresholds, no cap, and we will talk both through before you choose. We will not ask you to take an OTE figure on trust. Reach second interview and our advisers will tell you what they earn.
