Responsibilities
The Test Manager will plan, manage, and monitor the testing activities being conducted by the testing resources related to the modernization of worker’s compensation legacy systems.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with client Software Development Director and Data and Systems Manager to execute overall quality assurance testing strategy.
- Work directly with client's ITS leadership to identify potential automated QA tools and carry out proof of concept/trial studies.
- Manage, perform, monitor, and report on test activities.
- Oversee user acceptance, performance, accessibility, interface, and data conversion testing.
- Review, update and create test strategy, suites, and scripts.
- Identify and coordinate the creation of test data.
- Review and comment on business user system test results.
- Document and report test results and problem incident reports (PIRs)/defect status.
- Assist client's Project Manager in developing and executing the user acceptance testing (UAT) Test Plan for all assigned projects.
- Coordinate scheduling of testing staff, test activities, and meetings.
- Provide training and mentoring of testing team members.
- Perform related work as assigned.
Project work will extend to at least one application, TXCOMP, but may also include other applications as determined by project scope. All work shall be limited to workflows, business processes, and other functionality originating from the Division of Workers’ Compensation. The contract staff shall work on an agile scrum team, participating in regular meetings, work sessions, and interactions with the business owners.
