OVERVIEW
S&B is currently searching for a Senior Scheduler that acts as the subject matter expert for scheduling systems and is the main proposal scheduler for the company. As the schedule systems SME acts as the P6 schedule system administrator responsible for maintaining S&B’s P6 database and supports all project schedulers with technical support. Also responsible for assisting projects with the use of Acumen Fuse and Risk, as well as NetPoint software support.
Additionally, is the main proposals scheduler for the company who works closely with proposal managers, proposal construction managers, and estimators assigned to complete RFP requests.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans, schedules, coordinates and oversees the work of all Project Controls personnel.
EDUCATION
Normally requires a four-year technical degree.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field experience.
- Minimum of 12 years of project planning and scheduling experience, including 3 years as a schedule database administrator.
- Expertise in Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling and project controls.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making capabilities.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, maintain, and oversee all proposal schedules. Produces level 2 proposal schedules as the standard for all proposals, as well as level 3 when required by our prospective clients.
- Assist Scheduling Manager in establishing planning and scheduling standards, processes, and tools across projects.
- Maintains all technical aspects of the Primavera P6 schedule database, Deltek Acumen and NetPoint software.
- Assists as necessary to support or supplement projects as a scheduler.
- Facilitates and performs schedule risk sessions for projects to identify schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies to minimize delays.
- Drives continuous improvement in planning and scheduling processes, including adoption of advanced software tools.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, contractual obligations, and industry best practices through periodic audits of project schedules and schedule department deliverables.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read and write in the English language.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Basic mathematical skills required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our project control’s team at job site locations across the Southern United States. This role requires flexibility and a strong commitment to travel, as candidates must be willing to accept field assignments based on project needs and demand.
- This requires the ability to stand, walk, reach, climb and balance. It also requires clear, close and distance vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Field assignment will require exposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noise, working near moving mechanical parts, vibration, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals and airborne particles.
- Successful candidates will demonstrate a solid work ethic, adaptability, and the ability to perform effectively in dynamic field environments.
