About Harmon
Harmon is seeking motivated and driven interns to join our team for the summer. As a Construction Project Management Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting active construction projects while working alongside experienced project managers, field leaders, and industry professionals. This internship provides an opportunity to learn the construction process from project planning through completion while contributing to meaningful project work.
What You'll Do
As a Construction Project Management Intern, you may assist with a variety of project-related activities, including:
- Maintaining subcontractor files, job folders, and project documentation.
- Supporting project schedule updates and tracking project milestones.
- Developing and managing project correspondence with subcontractors, suppliers, design firms, and owner representatives.
- Reviewing project documents, including shop drawings, transmittals, bulletins, addenda, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Monitoring construction schedules and assisting with critical path schedule updates based on actual project progress.
- Supporting the processing of progress payments, change orders, and extra work orders.
- Assisting with development and tracking of project punch lists.
- Participating in project team meetings, progress meetings, and scheduling meetings.
- Recording and following up on meeting notes and action items.
- Maintaining project logs and organizing project paperwork.
- Assisting with construction inspections and reviewing construction drawings and blueprints.

Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Junior or Senior standing preferred.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
- Ability to work full-time during the summer internship period.
