SCM Technical Architect

OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a technical expert focused on SCM platforms, GitHub, and Backstage. This position is pivotal for enhancing our development and deployment processes, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency across projects.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable SCM solutions using GitHub and Backstage.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and architecture.Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on best practices.Monitor and optimise performance of SCM tools and processes.Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in SCM technologies.RequirementsProven experience in software architecture with a focus on SCM platforms with 8 to 10 years of experience.Strong proficiency in GitHub and Backstage.Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Nice to haveExperience with cloud-based SCM solutions.Knowledge of containerisation technologies such as Docker.Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
