Outside Sales Representative

SW Controls, division of FCX Performance/an Applied Industrial Technologies company, is headquartered in Michigan, and is one of the Midwest's largest process control representative and distributor organizations.

As an Outside Sales Representative, you’ll spend your time interacting with your customers in determining their flow control, valve and instrumentation needs, while providing solutions/services to meet those needs. You will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention and sales results!  

Other Responsibilities Include:

• Achieve sales and profit goals by developing and retaining existing customers and by opening new business.
• Conduct sales and service activities, develop strong customer relationships, identify product applications, and introduce new products and services.
• Organize and conduct training sessions for customers.
• Complete reports regarding itineraries, expenses, sales calls, leads, and other related matters.

• Outside sales within the industrial marketplace.
• Highly resourceful with an extensive background in organizing and providing exceptional customer service.
• Flow control, valve and instrumentation knowledge preferred!
• Self-motivated & aggressive in sales tactics and strategies; desire to close sales!
• Computer proficiency including MS office, SAP/ERP/P-21 a plus!

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
