Job Description Summary

The Translational and Correlative Studies Laboratory (TCSL) Temporary Extra Worker will support the Biochemical and Cell Processing team in the execution of immunoassays and the processing and biobanking of human samples from clinical trials. Responsibilities include performing Luminex and ELISA-based assays, maintaining accurate assay documentation and databases, managing biochemical reagent inventory, and supporting routine laboratory operations and waste disposal. The position will also collaborate with internal and external colleagues to support TCSL research and clinical trial activities.

Job Description

The Translational and Correlative Studies Laboratory (TCSL), within the Center of Cellular Immunotherapies at the University of Pennsylvania, is seeking a Temporary Extra Worker to support the Biochemical and Cell Processing teams. The position will perform immunoassays, including Luminex and ELISA-based assays, and support the daily processing and biobanking of human samples from clinical trials. Responsibilities will also include maintaining accurate assay documentation and databases, managing biochemical reagent inventory, supporting routine laboratory operations and waste disposal, and collaborating with internal and external colleagues to support TCSL research and clinical trial activities.

Might be required to work Holidays and weekends.

Candidates should hae a B.S. in the biological sciences and 0-1 year expeience or the equivalent combination of education and experience required. Human sample handling; blood, bone marrow aspirate, tissues, fluids (preferred). Strong organizational skills preferred.

Pay Range

$7.25 - $24.04 Hourly Rate
