Major Duties :1. Contribute to product quality via testing innovations and process improvement
2. Understand project/program high-level business workflows
3. Contribute to Technical roadmaps & plans for implementing project/program test strategies
4. Design & manage technical proof-of-concept and feasibility studies
5. Determining the root cause of defects & issues
6. Develop/Execute/Maintenance of Automation Suite
7. Enhance Automation libraries for continuous improvement
8. Ensure that design for automated tests includes:
a. Modularization for code reusability
b. Parameterization for data driven capability
c. Robustness
d. Scalability and flexibility
e. Optimized number of maintenance points
f. Organization of modules and data for ease of maintenance
9. Promote and support implementation of automated CI/CT/CD pipeline
10. Develop & extend test automation frameworks for UI, Micro services & API
11. Facilitate automated, on-demand test automation metrics
12. Ensure automated tests are run early & often providing quick feedback to the team
13. Collaborate with BAs, Architects & Developers in designing testable applications
14. Seek stakeholder feedback via test automation demos
Knowledge :• Expert in Java, Selenium, Lean FT, TestNG, Eclipse/IntelliJ
• Strong knowledge of scripting language Java & JavaScript/Python/C#.NET
• Excellent knowledge of SDLC and Agile development practices
• Proficient in SQL
• Proficient in Web Services
• Hands on Experience in DevOps/CICD toolset - Bamboo/Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, Git/ BitBucket
• Contribution to the Enterprise level Automation Framework
• Facilitate automated, on-demand test automation metrics
• Working knowledge of TDD/BDD and Framework (Cucumber/JBehave)
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Both attention to detail & ability to rise above details to see broader implications & recommend strategic solutions
• Multi-task in a continually changing environment
• Self-starter, positive & adaptable
• Should be able to communicate well with technical and business partners
Experience :• 7 to 12 years of relevant experience.
• B.E/B.Tech Graduate
• Quality Engineering Certifications (not mandatory, but good to have): DevOps, SAFe Agilist, ITIL
