Dates of Employment: October 2026 - May 2027

Position: Recreation Assistants & Recreation Leaders
                Birthday Party Packages
                Kids' Night Out
                (5-15 hr/weekend hours)

Location: The Gym at Les Gove Park, 910 9th St SE, AuburnRecreation Assistant:
The employee is responsible for assisting children ages 5 - 11 in group activities such as games, sports, arts and crafts and free play in a birthday party setting and Kids' Night Out program. Assist in set up and takedown of the program.

Recreation Leader:
The employee is responsible for leading children ages 5 - 11 in group activities such as games, sports, arts and crafts and free play in a birthday party setting and Kids' Night Out program. Lead in the set up and take down of the program.Recreation Assistant: Must be at least 16 years old.

Recreation Leader: Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Must enjoy working with youth and be able to work well with other program staff.
  • Must have a current First Aid and CPR certification or be willing to obtain certification within 2 weeks of employment.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to work weekends and evenings - Saturday and Sunday.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.  Must be able to work evenings and weekends. 
Based on Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 296-125-027 (Hours of work, meals and rest periods for minors), some position assignments may require the employee to be at least 18 years of age.COMMITMENT TO INCLUSION
