WORK TYPE Onsite

LOCATION DETAILS NJ - Ocean Township

WORK HOURS Monday – Friday  9:30am – 5:00pm

Full-Time Team members work 8-hour shifts for 40 hours per week. Shift times may vary, and extra hours may be added to your schedule to ensure we fulfill our commitments to customers.

Peak Season Requirements:

  • Candidates must be available to work weekends

  • Travel from January–June

One Beat a Varsity Achievement Brand is looking to hire a Media and Tech Production Team Member; The Media and Tech Production Team Member is responsible for assisting the Senior Manager of Media Production and the Media Production Team Lead with all items in relation to OneBeat’s media content; this includes but is not limited to sorting/uploading all photos & videos and judge critique video files captured at all OneBeat Dance Brand events, publishing media and judge critique video files to clients, prepare media storage devices, and equipment and assist in creating social media content & advertisements/promotions, as needed.

Responsibilities of this position include:  

  • Sort and upload all photos and videos and judge critique video files captured from all OneBeat events
  • Publish media content and judge critique video files to clients
  • Prepare media storage devices and media equipment
  • Assist in the creation of social media content and advertisements/promotions, as needed
  • Assist in maintenance of all media and scoring equipment to function properly
  • Assist in the research equipment and create procedures and systems to ensure workflow is current, streamlined and efficient
  • Learn in-depth and support all proprietary software on the road.
  • Assist all tour team with troubleshooting on weekends from end of January though May.
  • All other duties as assigned or designated

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites - especially in Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Acrobat, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator and Lightroom
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be an excellent problem-solver, quick-thinker and be able to communicate clear and concise solutions
  • Must be technically savvy
  • Must possess good time-management skills, and be able to self-manage
  • Must be able to work independently and with a team
  • Must have experience in live event production and media production
  • Must have knowledge of networking, video encoding, and basic to moderate IT logic.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

  • HS Diploma or GED (required)
  • Previous event dance industry experience preferred but not required
