Maintenance Worker I

Join Our Team! We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to fill multiple temporary positions, offering a 40-hour per week schedule. As a valued member of our team, your efforts will contribute directly to enhancing the beauty and functionality of our local landscapes.

Under close supervision you

• Perform a variety of manual, unskilled duties of routine difficulty.  
• Assist the roadside mowing team.
• Operate a variety of landscape maintenance equipment. 
• Perform weed control.
• Provide trash removal.
• Clean ditches.
• Perform other work as requested.

• Completion of eighth grade or equivalent, and
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Must be able to follow instructions and perform sustained physical labor, including heavy lifting and use of hand tools.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must provide and wear approved steel toe protective footwear during normal working hours.
