Towne Home Care is looking for compassionate Home Health Aides/CNAs to provide supervision and assistance in the activities of daily living of our geriatric clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services to patients in their residences, including toileting, bathing, dressing, transferring, ambulation assistance, and more.
- Perform domestic and household tasks, such as light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes
- Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
- Assist with self-administration of medications and medication reminders
- Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
- Assist with grocery shopping, transportation to doctor appointments, and errands.
Requirements:
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Current CNA license in FL or another state OR completion of an AHCA-approved 40 hour Home Health Aide course
- Communicable disease clearance by a doctor, including 1 Current PPD Test (Single Step PPD) or Chest X-Ray
- Level II Background Screening through AHCA Clearinghouse
- Driver's license and a reliable vehicle preferred
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
