Overview

Some careers are just jobs. This one is different. At Georgia HOPE, the work you do every day creates meaningful change for children, families, and individuals who need it most.

We're a Georgia-based behavioral health provider on a mission to instill hope, empower lives, and strengthen communities. Our team specializes in supporting individuals facing emotional and behavioral challenges—often those who have experienced trauma, instability, or significant life stressors. We deliver services directly in the homes, schools, and communities where our clients live and grow, because real progress happens when care is personalized, strengths-focused, and meets people where they are.

As part of the Health Connect America family—a COA-accredited organization serving children, families, and adults across nine states—you'll have the resources, support, and professional development of a larger organization, paired with the close-knit, mission-focused culture that defines our work.

If you’re looking for a career where your impact is visible, your growth is supported, and your work truly matters, you’ll find it here.

Responsibilities

If you're someone who thrives in a role that blends direct client impact with operational support and team coordination, this role was built for you.

As a Program Coordinator at Georgia HOPE, you’ll provide hands-on services to clients while supporting the day-to-day operations that keep programs running effectively and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

As a Program Coordinator, you’ll balance direct service delivery with operational and administrative support. Your work will focus on client care, coordination, and ensuring program effectiveness. Day to day, you can expect to:

• Provide direct care services to assigned clients while maintaining accurate, timely documentation in compliance with company, state, and payer requirements• Support day-to-day program operations, including coordination of admissions, authorizations, billing, payroll, and internal processes• Communicate regularly with clients, families, referral sources, and staff to ensure effective service delivery and coordination• Assist with staff support functions including training coordination, mentoring, and participation in hiring and onboarding activities• Contribute to program performance through involvement in budgeting, financial review, marketing efforts, and regional development initiatives• Support compliance and quality efforts by participating in audits, reviewing documentation, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards

What to Expect

This is a hybrid role that combines direct client interaction with operational and administrative responsibilities. You’ll work closely with the Program Director and broader team to ensure services are delivered effectively while supporting the infrastructure behind the program. Success in this role requires strong organization, adaptability, and the ability to shift between client-facing work and behind-the-scenes coordination. You’ll play a key role in maintaining program quality, supporting team performance, and ensuring clients receive timely, well-coordinated care.

Qualifications

We welcome candidates who bring a genuine commitment to children and families and meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services discipline, including, but not limited to Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, etc.

  • At least two (2) years of experience working with children and/or families (experience can include internships, volunteer work, etc.).

  • Experience in leadership and management is preferred.
