Description
This is a full-time Warehouse Generalist position supporting daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work with a team that helps keep products moving safely and efficiently from receiving through storage and shipment.
As a Warehouse Generalist, you’ll play an important role in keeping our warehouse running safely and efficiently by moving, storing, and preparing products for shipment while following Lineage safety and operational standards.What You’ll Do
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload products from trucks, pallets, skids, and other lifting equipment.
- Put away and retrieve palletized products from rack locations, including areas above floor level.
- Pick and prepare products for outbound shipment using RF scanning equipment.
- Follow computerized work orders to identify products, quantities, and warehouse locations.
- Inspect products and report damages, discrepancies, or other issues to leadership.
- Wrap, pack, seal, and label pallets to ensure products are secure for storage and shipment.
- Complete required forklift and equipment safety checks.
- Monitor equipment and battery charge and return equipment to designated storage areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Additional Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to meet productivity, quality, and safety expectations.
- Communicate product, equipment, or operational concerns to supervisors and leads.
- Assist with general warehouse organization and housekeeping throughout the shift.
- Support other warehouse activities and operational needs as assigned.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety while working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to read, interpret, scan, or manually enter pallet identification numbers.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to lift at least 40 lbs., with heavier lifting potentially required depending on the facility.
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F in cold storage environments while wearing required PPE and freezer gear.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.
- Comfortable working around varying noise levels, including loud environments.
- A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and getting the job done right.
