Description
Working with the AA | Me mahi tahi tatou ki AA
For over 120 years, the AA has been helping Kiwis on their adventures. Today, we're one of New Zealand's most respected and trusted brands.
From our humble beginnings as a motoring enthusiasts' club, the New Zealand AA (Automobile Association) has grown into a large, dynamic organisation offering a wide range of services and products to more than a million Members.
As we prepare for our busiest time of year, we're looking for several part-time Customer Service Representatives to join us on a 3 month fixed-term basis over the summer period in our busy Contact Centre in Penrose. These phone-based roles will play a vital part in supporting increased customer demand and helping us continue to deliver exceptional service when our Members need us most.
We have a range of rosters available, all requiring a commitment to work at least one weekend day. You'll work 20 - 24 hours per week, primarily across our busiest days of Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, so flexibility to work across these days is essential with earliest roster starts from 8am and latest finishes up to 10pm.
To get you started, we provide a comprehensive two-week full-time paid training programme commencing 9 November, delivered during standard business hours. This includes classroom learning, working alongside our friendly team, and gaining first-hand insight into what it takes to keep New Zealand moving. Following training, you'll transition to a part-time roster.
What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga
Our Customer Care teams are a crucial part of the services AA offers, coordinating roadside assistance and providing peace of mind to New Zealand road users every day. Whether you're assisting with Membership enquiries or arranging roadside support for our Members and business partners, you'll be helping people when they need it most.
You'll create solutions, share your expertise, think on your feet, and play an important role in keeping New Zealand moving during our busiest summer months.
About You | Mōu
A natural communicator, your efforts will not only reward you but will genuinely help others who are in need of professional, friendly and efficient service. You’ll be a supportive and actively involved team player, contributing ideas to continually improve customer experience.
