Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Concierge in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a renowned cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol galleries, public spaces, and surrounding areas to help deter security-related incidents. You will maintain a professional, welcoming presence, assist visitors and staff, and communicate clearly while supporting a positive guest experience. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, volunteers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout museum galleries, public areas, staff spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe visitor activity and support the protection of artwork, exhibits, collections, and museum property while maintaining a professional, welcoming presence.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and reporting requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and appropriate site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
