We have a customer in Beaverton, OR who has an IMMEDIATE long term DIRECT HIRE opening for an EXPERIENCED Electronic H/W Engineer who has experience in the design, development and improvement of analog mixed signal circuits that are used for precision test and measurement equipment for fiberoptic and related products. In this role you will be involved in full lifecycle design including using SPICE for simulation, schematic design, PCB layout using Altium, prototyping through production release. You will be directly involved in digitizing analog signals while performing signal conversions and conditioning as well as signal amplification. You will also work to take analog circuits to DC/2 GHz w/ultra-low noise, photodiode front ends, small signal amps/chains, precision power supplies and developing microcontroller F/W (PIC/and Tool Chains) for bare metal embedded systems. You will be directly involved in design and development to improve analog mixed-signal circuits and data acquisition for Hi-Tech fiberoptic test and measurement equipment that involves lasers and optics.
- This is a long-term DIRECT HIRE position that must be worked on site
- Pay for this position is in the 120-160K range plus bonus and relocation assistance if needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- BSEE or MSEE/preferred and 8 years+ of experience in full electronic product lifecycle design
- Experience with digitizing and conversion/filtering/conditioning of analog signals is required
- SPICE for simulation, PCB design/layout (Altium or similar), prototyping, production release
- Must have strong background with analog and digital circuits, experience with DC/2HGz with ultra low noise
- Experience with photo-diode front-ends, small signal amps/chains, precision power supplies, microcontroller/PIC firmware development and FPGA/Xilinx
- Ideally candidate will have strong background in A-D circuit design, digitizing, signal conditioning and filtering, electronic component selection
- Experience with optics, lasers and precision measurement equipment and fiberoptic industry a plus
- Strong communication skills and interest in long term career with a company involved in high-tech test and measurement equipment design for AI and Data Center development
