Yard Operative

Salary - £13.00ph 

Hours - 48 hours per week - Monday and Friday, 7am - 5pm

Location - Stewartby, MK43 9LY

What Will You Be Doing

• Complete maintenance duties and as when required
• Bulking of packaged material / waste for treatment 
• Repacking of packaged material for onward disposal 
• Direct visiting drivers to the correct areas - acting as reversing assistant when required
• Report and deal with contamination, non-compliant waste / product and any spills, leaks, litter, safe stacking of packaged waste, clean and well maintained bunds, odours or dust
• Checking that Hazardous Waste is stored in accordance with the site environmental permit 
• Use a 2-way radio / marine band VHF 

What Are We Looking For 

Essential:

• Similar operational yard experience 
• Good working knowledge of Health & safety 
• Previous maintenance experience
