Job Description – Credit Risk Analyst Intern (Fresh Graduate)
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented recent graduate to join our Credit Risk team as an Intern. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to credit risk assessment, financial analysis, and fintech operations. You will work closely with experienced analysts to learn core credit evaluation skills and support day-to-day risk activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing and organizing credit applications to ensure required information and documentation are complete.
- Support basic financial analysis, including data gathering on applicant income, expenses, and liabilities.
- Help identify missing information or inconsistencies in applications and coordinate with internal teams to resolve them.
- Maintain accurate records of applications, decisions, and supporting documentation.
- Participate in data entry, reporting, and preparation of simple dashboards or summaries.
- Learn and apply internal credit policies, guidelines, and risk frameworks under supervision.
- Support the team in identifying process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Work collaboratively with teams such as Sales, Operations, and Risk.
Learning & Development Opportunities
- Exposure to SME credit underwriting and fintech risk practices.
- Training on financial statement basics and credit analysis fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with data tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools).

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or final year student) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance with an interest in finance and risk management.
- Basic knowledge of financial concepts (e.g., income, expenses, profit, debt).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic functions, data handling).
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
