Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role is integral to maintaining and growing our book of business, focusing on small business accounts with a mix of standard and surplus lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial lines, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to the clients. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available (details provided upon request).
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of business valued at approximately $1.4 million, focusing on accounts with premiums ranging from $2,500 to $90,000.
• Handle renewals (85%) and assist with quoting new business (15%).
• Process endorsements, policy changes, certificates of insurance, and other client requests.
• Prepare summaries and remarket policies as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients via email and occasional inbound calls.
• Collaborate with producers and other team members to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a commercial lines account management role (1.5 years minimum preferred).
• Software Proficiency: Experience with Epic software is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and integrity are essential.
• Work Environment: This is an on-site role; remote or hybrid work is not available.
