This course provides a comprehensive introduction to insurance law, combining historical foundations with an in depth examination of Quebec’s legal framework and contemporary issues shaping the insurance industry, including coverage analysis, commercial insurance, and claims management practices.


Please note that this course will be allocated to a member using an exemption as per article 15.03.03 of the MCLIU collective agreement.


TQR: At a minimum, a first degree in law. Several years of significant practice or professional experience, in the relevant area; Experience in teaching undergraduate law students in a bilingual setting.
