Meat Transporter II - 1st Shift - Newbern, Tn

Schedule - Monday - Friday with possible Saturday's

Hours - 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Pay - 22.45/Hr.

Job Description:

• Set up equipment in preparation for startup, and responsible for transportation of meat to and from department, while also being able to adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies. 
• Monitor production area for trash and debris on floor.
• Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent. 
• All employees are responsible for upholding the principals of SQF 2000. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to work cycles in less than 20 seconds. 
• Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
• Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours. 
• Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
• This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
• Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner
• Must not have more than 4 attendance occurrences. Must not have a disciplinary suspension on file in the past 6 months. Must be in your current position for a minimum of six (6) months unless this job is a higher class than you currently hold.
