Out of School Enrichment Leader

As a Y-Club Leader, you will:
- Lead a group of K-6 children in our licensed before and after school Y Club program, creating a safe and welcoming environment.
- Lead fun, engaging games and activities that build social-emotional skills, foster friendships, and spark curiosity.
- Inspire confidence and leadership by encouraging children to try new things, solve problems, and discover what they're capable of.
Possible opportunities available in elementary schools and Y branches in Alliance, Northwest, Canton City, Jackson, North Canton, Lake (Hartville/Uniontown), Louisville, Perry, Plain and Minerva school districts.
Hours/Shifts:
- Monday through Friday shifts available (no weekends)
- Before school hours: 6:30-9am (varies by Stark County School District location)
- After school hours: 3-6pm (varies by Stark County School District location)
Pay Rate: $12.35 /HR
*Complimentary Y membership and discounted rates for child care and programs also included.
Who Are We Looking For?
Individuals who will...
- Serve as a professional role model for children grades K-6 by leading through example, encouraging healthy and safe behaviors and creating a positive experience while ensuring safety and proper supervision of all.
- Participate in and lead activities with students that include, but are not limited to, arts and crafts, sports, STEM, character education, and social and emotional skills.
- Partner and build relationships with parents, school employees, administration and other adults in order to foster a supportive environment for each child.
- Be a part of an amazing team of staff focused on teaching teamwork and social skills, and supporting children as they grow and learn.
- Partner and build relationships with parents, school employees, administration and other adults in order to foster a supportive environment for each child.
- Execute State Licensing and Step Up to Quality requirements in order to provide a quality care environment.
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years old
- Completed high school or GED program
- Ability to pass a background check
