Senior Accounts Assistant

JHE & Partners are excited to be working with a brilliant company in Brighouse as they look to recruit a Senior Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. They are looking for someone with recent experience in a similar role who will work with them to improve processes and increase efficiency. The role is busy, varied and hands on, meaning the successful candidate will enjoy playing a key role in the team.

Key duties include:

• Processing supplier invoices
• Complete supplier statement reconciliations
• Prepare payment schedules
• Handle supplier queries
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Posting incoming cash and allocating customer receipts to the correct accounts
• Support month-end close activities
• Support internal and external audit requirements
• Other duties as required in a busy accounts office environment
