Job Description

As a Security Officer Incident Response Patrol in Atlantic City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will respond to alarms, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed, and maintain awareness of restricted areas.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or applicable license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
