Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC is recruiting a BC/BE Internal Medicine & Infectious Disease physician. This position will include outpatient primary care and infectious disease inpatient consults.

• Outpatient primary care, inpatient infectious disease rounds and consults.
• Approximately 50% infectious disease care and 50% internal medicine / primary care
• Collegial team of physicians, APPs, and MAs
• Blend of outpatient and inpatient consults

• IM residency program – preference for candidates looking for academics

Responsibilities:

• Support ARMC's mission of delivering high quality, compassionate care to the community of Aiken and surrounding area
• Provide comprehensive internal medicine and infectious disease care in a community setting
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of infectious diseases and internal medicine conditions
• Provide preventative care including well visits, screenings, and health education including Diabetes Education
• Manage both acute and chronic conditions, including infection prevention, treatment planning, and follow-up care

Requirements:

• BC/BE Internal Medicine & Infectious Disease
• Active, clear SC license and DEA or ability to obtain
• Clean professional background
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate bedside manner
• Commitment to team-based care, teaching, and outpatient practice
