We are seeking an accomplished Director of Property Data Sales to lead a team responsible for driving growth across our DataTree and Financial Services solutions.This is a sales leadership role for someone who knows how to turn strategy into execution and deliver results through others. You will lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals while establishing the sales strategy, operating rhythm, pipeline discipline, and performance expectations needed to achieve sustainable revenue growth.
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial instincts with analytical rigor. You understand how to evaluate markets, identify growth opportunities, use data to improve sales performance, and build trusted relationships with customers and internal partners. Just as importantly, you know how to build high-performing sales teams and create an environment of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
How You'll Contribute
Lead and Develop a High-Performing Sales Team
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals responsible for Property Data and Financial Services solutions.
- Establish clear performance expectations and hold the team accountable for revenue, pipeline, customer, and activity goals.
- Provide regular coaching using pipeline reviews, deal strategy discussions, performance data, and customer insights.
- Recruit, onboard, retain, and develop strong sales talent while building bench strength and future leadership capability.
- Identify performance gaps early and take appropriate action to improve individual and team results.
- Create a collaborative, customer-focused sales culture that balances performance accountability with employee development.
Drive Sales Strategy and Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives, market opportunities, customer needs, and revenue targets.
- Translate broader business strategy into actionable sales priorities, territory strategies, account plans, and performance expectations.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships, penetrate new markets, and accelerate adoption of Property Data and Financial Services solutions.
- Maintain awareness of competitive, market, customer, and industry trends and incorporate those insights into sales strategy.
- Partner with business leadership to evaluate emerging growth opportunities and determine where sales resources will have the greatest impact.
Strengthen Sales Execution and Performance
- Establish a disciplined sales operating rhythm, including pipeline management, forecasting, performance reviews, and deal strategy.
- Develop accurate and actionable sales forecasts and communicate performance, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions to leadership.
- Use sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, diagnose gaps, and improve sales effectiveness.
- Establish meaningful measures of sales productivity and hold the organization accountable for execution against agreed-upon goals.
- Evaluate sales processes, tools, and practices and implement improvements that increase effectiveness, scalability, and customer impact.
Champion the Customer
- Build a strong understanding of customer needs, business challenges, and evolving market dynamics.
- Ensure the sales organization develops trusted, consultative relationships with customers and consistently delivers on commitments.
- Maintain executive-level relationships with strategic customers when appropriate and support the team in navigating complex opportunities.
- Bring customer insights back into the organization to help inform product, marketing, service, and go-to-market decisions.
Partner Across the Business
- Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, Customer Success, Finance, and other partners to align go-to-market priorities and support revenue growth.
- Partner with Marketing to develop campaigns, messaging, and market strategies that build awareness and generate demand.
- Influence across organizational boundaries to resolve customer or business challenges.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives focused on improving sales effectiveness, customer experience, and business performance.
- Effectively lead through change and help the sales organization adapt to evolving products, markets, customer expectations, and business priorities.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 7+ years of progressive B2B sales experience, ideally within property data, financial services, information services, real estate technology, mortgage/title, data and analytics, or another complex solutions-based environment.
- 3+ years of demonstrated success leading and developing sales professionals.
- Proven ability to deliver revenue growth through a sales team rather than primarily through individual production.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing sales strategies and translating business objectives into measurable sales plans.
- Strong experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, performance analytics, and sales metrics.
- Ability to analyze sales and market data, identify trends and opportunities, and translate insights into action.
- Experience managing complex or enterprise customer relationships and supporting teams through sophisticated sales cycles.
- Strong business and financial acumen with an understanding of how sales decisions affect revenue, profitability, customer retention, and long-term growth.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach, develop, and retain high-performing sales talent.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate strategy, performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Ability to influence and build effective relationships across functions and organizational levels.
- Comfort operating in a dynamic environment and leading teams through change.
- Ability to travel as business needs require.
