As a Client Acquisition Associate (CAA), you are responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients that align with Genesis Capital’s strategic growth objectives. Serving as the first point of contact for many prospective borrowers, the CAA plays a critical role in generating new business opportunities, expanding market presence, and strengthening the company’s pipeline of future lending relationships.
This role combines prospecting, relationship development, market intelligence, and data-driven sales execution. Successful candidates are highly competitive, resilient, intellectually curious, and thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
Principal Duties:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Business Development & Prospecting
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting across phone, email, LinkedIn, industry events, and other engagement channels.
- Identify, research, and qualify prospective clients within existing and expansion markets.
- Establish and develop relationships with decision-makers, business owners, and industry stakeholders.
- Communicate Genesis Capital's value proposition, products, capabilities, and differentiators.
- Maintain a consistent cadence of outreach and follow-up activities.
Pipeline & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate prospect, activity, and pipeline data within Salesforce and other systems.
- Manage prospecting workflows and follow-up schedules with discipline.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics including outreach activity, conversion rates, and pipeline progression.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Utilize internal and external data sources to identify growth opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, borrower behavior, and geographic opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine territory and market strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Business Development, Credit, Marketing, Operations, and Executive Leadership teams.
- Contribute to process improvements and sales enablement initiatives.
- Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.
- Performs related duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience

- 3-5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Client Acquisition, or a similar revenue-generating role.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, Communications, focus in Real Estate field preferred.
- Proven success with outbound prospecting, cold calling, and pipeline generation.
- Experience within financial services, lending, real estate, or related industries preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Compensation Range: $75,000 - $95,000/base annual + incentive
