Description
Entry level claims handling position for managing, investigating and resolving claims, involving minor property damage and bodily injury claims filed against the MTA. Receives close supervision from the Claims Supervisor or other designated officials. Manages a caseload of approximately 150-175 individual claims files with multiple claimants arising out of MTA operations. Individual claims files assigned by the MTA Claims Management to this level adjuster will involve property damage and bodily injury claims typically reserved at $10,000 or less. This position is also responsible for any other duty or task that would be required in order to meet the performance requirement of the job.

• Individual claims files assigned by the MTA TIG Management to this level adjuster will involve property damage and bodily injury claims typically reserved at $10,000 or less.
• This position is also responsible for any other duty or task that would be required in order to meet the performance requirement of the job.
Education and Experience
Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate
and one (1) year of experience in investigating, settling, and handling automobile property
damage, bodily injury, and general liability claims.
